Default Just tell me this.....

How the heck can you do the Defend Kryta Province quest with 5 lvl 10 henchies ? our group of 6 lvl 20 were getting ganked..attack 2 and end up with 8 on you, and you are lucky if you can even run away.

I've never done it so I wouldn't know. Just saying 60% dp is the limit and you can die as much as you want. So as long as you can kill one guy before you all die.....

I mean I am the guy thats beat every mission using henchies. Me not good? Yeah right

Start from Temple of Ages, you can load up with a team of 8 lvl20s, or at least 7 lvl15 henchies.

Did this with 5 lvl 20s. I used a MM which worked like a charm.

That doesn't work for DNKP. You're defending an NPC, and if he dies, you lose.

The key is a good Necro. Don't let the Titans make wells. I did it with a different twist with my Necro. She had SS and used Putird Explosion. The Titans were dropping like flies. It was lovely. It's the easiest time I ever had on one of the Titan quests.

Temple of Ages is the best place to start where you can get 8 men party. Than you can choose to run to Ascalon Settlement or fight your way there.

...sigh.

On topic: Woody hit it on the head.. also I found that a few ele's help to spike and maintain a high dps throught the (long) fight.

Good Luck!

If you don't have an energy-efficient /N, just use spent 1 skill slot on either Consume Corpse or Necrotic Traversal; spam whichever one you chose whenever something dies. No corpses = no wells.

Killing order is also important I believe.

The best way is to kill all the titans first, leaving the growths, then take 1 growth at a time and kill the titans that spawn from it. If you attack the growths first they'll spawn more titans.

Also, having 2 monks wouldn't hurt. Ward against elemental or elemental resistance works wonders too.

I hate to say this, but Defend Kryta Provence Quest really isn't that hard. I've soloed it with my Warrior. The only enemies I had to avoid were the Wind Titans because they spam Blinding Flash. Although, I do remember the growths being a pain in the butt.

With the help of the henchies, it's doable. My three other characters, a Ranger, a Mesmer, and a Necromancer all did it with the henchies. The only one of those that ended up with 60% DP was the mesmer.

Also, something to keep in mind: If you find that level 10 henchies aren't enough, you can always fight your way from TotA and use the level 15 henchies from there. Just be sure not to stop at any outposts along the way, or the level 15 henchies will go away.

I found this quest to be a bit of a pain, but it is soloing in some cases... but hard.

Best thing to do is map to the Temple of Ages and make a team of 8 Level 20 people, or get the henchmen from there, and then run back to North Kryta to do this quest.

Important to focus fire in this quest and take out groups as fast as possible, try to kill groups before the next bunch come along or you could quickly end up with too many to deal with.

There's a way The key secret "Don't Activate the NPC". From there try to think what I mean

Same with the Last Day-Ascalon part of the Titan quests.

Do you mean you can perhaps go out and find all the tians waiting to just come to you and kill them all slowly before even activating greywind and then when you activate him there are no tians to kill?
